Phoenix II is not just a sequel, it’s a complete reinvention. Built from the ground up with a brand-new emulsion, this film takes what the original Phoenix started and pushes it further, refining contrast, grain, colour accuracy, and highlight/shadow detail. 

This is not a film for perfectionists. Expect halation, colour shifts, and a relatively narrow exposure latitude, though it’s more forgiving than the original. 

Phoenix II performs best between ISO 100–200, and a UV filter on bright days can help punch up contrast and colour depth.
