Every Snap 35 ® Counts

Every Snap 35 ® we produce makes a significant impact and removes the equivalent of 45 plastic film container lids or 19 bottoms that would normally end up in landfill.

Collaborative Expertise

Snap 35 ® is the result of collaboration with talented partners who share our commitment to sustainability. Our packaging design and letterpress printing are carried out by Hungry Workshop, using Algae Ink, a carbon-negative ink, on Colorplan paper. This paper is manufactured using Elemental Chlorine Free pulp sourced from certified Sustainable Managed Plantations.

Our mould was produced by Precious Plastics in Melbourne.

The Story Of Snap 35 ®

We’re driven by a deep commitment to minimising our environmental impact and repurposing the waste generated by our industry. We saw an opportunity to make a positive change by breathing new life into film community plastic that would otherwise end up in landfills. That's why we embarked on the journey of creating Snap 35 ®.

Many film cases on the market today are made from non-sustainable materials like virgin ABS plastic. We knew that it was crucial for Snap 35 ® to use only 100% recycled plastic sourced from our own industry. By doing so, we not only reduce waste but also provide a solution that aligns with our values.

We also noticed that most film cases on the market are bulky and impractical. We set out to change that. The design of Snap 35 ® focuses on slimness and pocket-ability, allowing you to travel light and have your film easily accessible whenever inspiration strikes.

We developed a lid system using magnets and a sliding hinge so the lid stays attached but can also be easily opened with one hand.

With Snap 35 ®, we aim to deliver not just a beautiful and functional film case, but also a sustainable tool that film shooters will find useful.
